Beretta 694 barrel regulation - can it be adjusted?

I've still got the original cardboard box my 1970 Browning A1 skeet gun came in, complete with the two factory shot pattern test sheets.

    ported barrels

Ported barrels were banned for use in the Olympic disciplines. However, they've been approved for use for quite a number of years subject to certain conditions such as the porting being done by the manufacturer and distance of the porting back from the muzzles.

    Tramlines Who?

My 1970 Browning A1 skeet gun has tramlines, as does my 1989 Beretta 687 sporter. I understand there were several ribs fitted to various 68X models. The wider rib with tramlines was called 'La Strada'!

    Travel insurance for guns

My guns are insured as specified items on my NFU household policy. I've had need to make a claim and it was dealt with efficiently, promptly and in full.

    DT11 trigger shoe

Not all 68x series have an adjustable/removable trigger. For instance my 1989 687 has a fixed trigger blade.

    DT11 trigger shoe

The blade is canted to the left so my finger fits comfortably on it. I find on a RH trigger blade a sharp edge on the left hand side such as fitted to my 687. With one of these I have used a fine file to reprofile the edge to lose the sharpness, making it basically ambidextrous.

    DT11 trigger shoe

Yep, I'm a lefty and swapped the RH trigger blade to a LH one.

    New old gun

Hi Les, a totally unmolested 20 year old MK38 grade 3 32" trap gun, has found it's way into my gun cabinet in the last week. I think it's an old geezer thing😁😁😁

Cartridge price increases now getting silly

I think you'll find that TAV San Fruttuoso is the shooting ground Castelgofreddo where I bought the Officials. I've been going there for 30 plus years. Mary shot against Laura Chiti back in 1991 when they were in their respective national teams and have been friends ever since. We always go...

Cartridge price increases now getting silly

I'm at Trap Concaverde, Lonato, Italy shooting the Perazzi OT Grand Mondiale. Bought RC4 24gm at the ground for 328 euros a thousand with my exchange rate of 1.16 that works out at £282. I also bought 1k of Official Trap 28gm at Castelgofreddo to take to Spain for the World UT Championships...

Semi auto, love em / hate em.

Back in the mid eighties I used to shoot DTL and being left handed a semi auto user on my left side, ie shooting before me was a right nuisance. One day shooting at Nottingham Gun Club I had a SA shooter join our squad on my left after three rounds of being clattered by his empties I had my...

    Perazzi Mx8 Sporter

Nope it has never bothered me, I think there needs to be a slight element of free play to enable the trigger mechanism to be removed with relative ease.  They're a competition gun and if there's a failure of the leaf (vee) main spring you have a time limit of 3 minutes, within the competition...
