    Leaf or Coil springs

Leaf springs are meant to give crisper pulls and faster lock times due to them being more powerful and the way they deliver it. Does it make a difference to.your scores? IMO, As long as the pulls are consistent and not too heavy. No

    Rule changes

I was surprised that ESK wasn't included as well as DTL& ABT. That's the one where thre is more chances of a loaded gun being waved around outside the safe zone. Especially on stands 1 and 7. As for OT and OSK. I believe Ben had already said that it was due to some countries that hold...

    Recyclable Clay Targets

My Dad had an aluminium clay. It used to get thrown on an easy target. It caused some scratched heads. especially for the local hot shots. Trouble with it was that it was hard to tell if it had actually been hit or not.

    Kemen KM4

They will possibly drop on. I can't remember which way round it was. I tried when I had a Kemen KM4 and a Perazz MX8 at the same time. Assuming as you say the kemen will go on the perazzi: They have different gaps in the slots on the Barrels that mate up with the wedge in the receiver. The gap...

    Kemen KM4

Not quite. the hammer springs need the locating pin to be trimmed and there are other differences that mean they are not just plug and play. The Barrels won't interchange at all. Stocks heading up is different too.

    Celtic but not

I guess a ban would be a reason. But I'd be surprised if there isn't a clause that would align them for banned shooters. It"s £19 cheaper but not really enough to be a reason on it's own. My own feeling based on that I know of a few that are in the Welsh CPSA as they shoot for the National...

    Gun for the Mrs ?

Great guns if you can find on in good condition. I picked up a 28" Browning B125 which has invector chokes, opposed to the B25 which until very recently (and will be way out of your budget) are fixed choke. The stock on these seem to be reasonably high and it was next to no money considering...

    Fred Williams Hammer 10 Bore

I was in a pub when a Yorkshire man dropped a pound at the bar. As he bent down to pick it up and it hit him on the back of the head. 😀

    Fred Williams Hammer 10 Bore

You could go to 1 1/2 oz or 42g. That would raise a few eyebrows.

I just can't see it happening.

Ha, policing this is going to be fun for ABT and DTL. I can see that for ABT just about everyone will ignore it as the shooters referee each other. I'll wait to see how they do it for domestic comps in Italy etc. I bet pound to a pinch they will not be expected to adhere to this and nothing...

    Out of the ordinary Browning

I think it was quite popular at on time to have A1 grades customised. Wisemans did do them and some went back to Belgium where they would do them. Not sure if it was at the factory or if it was by the Engravers that had gone freelance. Just had a couple of guns with wisemans for some repair...

    Out of the ordinary Browning

Go me stumped. Possibly a one off. The action shape is that of a C or D grade. Is it signed by an engraver? It may be possible to see if it relates to someone working for the factory in 1977. If not it could possibly be an after market custom job.

Local Ground For Local People 🤣

There are probably still quite a few, Even though I shoot most weekends and well in touch with the shooting community. Every now and then I come across a club by a handful of people close to near where I live that have operated for years. The number has dwindled quite a bit. In the 80's...

A funny thing happened at the Ground yesterday !

How about this one. Boxing day shoot several years ago. Chap with an old auto had a jam with a live cartridge in the chamber. He couldn't open it with the bolt handle. Him and his mate got a cleaning rod and started to try and knock it open with the rod down the barrel. I was on the next stand...
