It is the ability to practice at times when I wouldn't normally be able to shoot that i like the idea of i.e. after work, they are pricey but if it means I can put into practice  the techniques taught and it makes me better than would be worth it.

Hi All, Sorry if this has been asked before (couldn't find it via any searches) Has anyone used the Dryfire system and most importantly does it work? Had a couple of great lessons at Owls Lodge and now at the stage where I need to pratcice the skills (before going back for more lesson)...

Sorry for the dumb question but having taken part in my first 'registered shoot' at the Berreta Worlds last weekend and absolutely loved the experience I've decided it is time to move on from the straw balers to registered shoots. Quick question, do the registered shoots all follow the same...

Southdown is looking like a good option, I quickly checked southdowns website prior to posting on here and saw the opening times for the normal weeks so assumed you were closed. Do I need to pre-book or can we just turn up? Cheers 

Thanks Radrac, Wyle is (very) good for me as I live in Salisbury but not too good for buddy I'm shooting with who lives in London (near Dartford) so was looking for somewhere in between us both either in Hampshire, Surrey or Sussex (unless I can persuade him to drive to Wyle :nyam:  )

Last time I was there I put my gun on the rack sat down for a coffee, a group of people on a stag do waiting to go on a lesson were picking up guns from the rack to feel the weights etc. I almost had a heart attack at the sight of an 'unknown' messing with my gun. They obviously didn't know...

What do gunsmiths actually do on a gun service? Is it just a strip down and check over of the working parts? 

Quick question about etiquette at the Beretta worlds, is it acceptable for me to share my Beretta with my mate for shooting (as he is Browning owner) or is that a big no no?
