I think it would be possible to work off of the true average score from each shoot rather than high gun or anything from the top end of the scores because they are the extremes. The true average would obviously then reflect the relative toughness of the round and you would be scored, for...

Thanks for the reply. I will give anything a try. It is funny, but it usually happens on the easy targets, which leads me to believe the problem is more to do with the fear of missing rather than recoil issues that seems to be the more popular explanation for this terrible affliction.

Not sure I agree with this. My reason for using maintained lead is the fact you can keep on the line even when it changes/drifts. It is admittedly easier to stop your swing,but if you exaggerate the follow through this can be overcome. I also don't want to contradict such a fine coach as Ed but...
