2nd barrel

I gave some of my cartridges to someone to try on Saturday . Although they work well in my gun they wouldn't reset the trigger for the 2nd barrel in a Beretta 682 Gold . The gun worked ok with different cartridges of the same brand and weight.

Any idea's on the cause ?

My gun did something similar a long time ago, turned out to be a 'sticky inertia block' - the fault was really intermittent, and only happened on some shells.

Bit odd that the gun didn't have the same happen with other shells though.

It sounds like this particular gun needs a bit of a tweak to make it work with those shells, not unheard of with light recoiling shells.

My Beretta SxS needed a good tweak (from a smith) before it would reliably fire a second barrel with anything lighter than 28g shells. Perfect now.

Interesting. Never had that trouble with a Perazzi.

Yup. I couldn't find an appropriate Perazzi sxs.
