We need your help people - the Member Map now has a layer of SHOOTING GROUNDS on it - white pushpins.

I have a big list here, but have no way of verifying every single one - so, can I ask that you reply to this post with THREE items of data for any shoots you regularly attend and can confirm are still running/open/there:

Shooting Ground Name / PostCode (for satnav) / Website

Dig out your scraps of paper, GPS devices, phones, that you have locally and put them in here, and we'll make sure they get added to the map.

Just a thought but can't CPSA help with a listing in some way? What about our new CPSA Member on the IT side at HQ?

My understanding is that the CPSA are quite protective about their listing, as would I be.

I actually have one that I have pulled together from loads of magazines, emails, websites etc - and I will use that to fuill in gaps over time, but I thought this would be a good way to crowdsource the most up to date info, if people don't post unless they know the ground is valid, then we know that the list stays up to date.

This method also captures the strawbalers that have nothing to do with the CPSA. I'd love to have those up here as well, with contact numbers so that people can find out when things are on.

Matt, I appreciate you're wanting to put 'straw balers' on the map but I guess some will not have postcodes.
Can you work from lat/long co-ordinates that can be got from bingle Earth for instance?

Toby,, If you download bingle Earth,it's a programme not a website.locate your ground and at the very bottom of the screen you will see the lat/long displayed of wherever the cursor is pointing.
