Work in progress, custom stock for my F16, hand painted by Freya Hill (16)

Inspired by Van Gough “Wheatfields with Crows”

The stock itself is a prototype quasi-isotopic composite structure.

I’m sure it’s not to everyone’s taste...

And it certainly has no need to be ! FWIW I think it's pretty cool. The only downside that springs to mind is that such art is usually unfortunately fragile. A proper clearcoat of some kind might help preserve it.

The plan is to finish it with two coats of epoxy resin, then a final satin lacquer

The thought did occur to me to be honest.

With my frequency of misses, I think I could end up more noticed than Mr Digweed
