Any forum members travelling on virgin flight vs39 on sat 11th and staying in the city prior to the shoot? I'm trying to arrange a shuttle into the city, let me know if anyone is interested.

Isn't the ground doing a shuttle Wynno? We're being picked up by family and going North of the city so can't help I'm afraid. . I've heard there's a load of guys on that flight, some of whom will have hired cars.

yes the ground is doing a shuttle, from the airport to the host hotel, I'm staying in the city for a couple of days before the shoot....Trying to earn some brownie points with the wife...so I can shoot for 5 days with no interuptions

Everybody got their Form 6? I would get a car and keep the shotgun in the trunk while IN Chicago!, even if you leave the car in the parking! I will drive from Montréal on the 12th. See you all

It's your permit from the ATF to allow you to temporarily import guns to the US. Can't get a gun into the states without it.

It takes usualy at least 3 weeks to get a Form 6. But if you are polite, claim stupidity due to age, apoligise etc.., I know a numbnut that came shooting with me who got it in 24 hours. DON'T leave a gun with hotel staf! You WILL loose it! Chicago is notorious for crime. The WHOLE Polish shooting teams had their guns stolen in Chacago before the World at MH&H. We managed to get Beretta to supply them with guns for the event. Some of the shotguns weere found and returned.
Go to www.losttarget.com to download the form. You have to fax it. Put a stupid letter with it and hope to get a Form 6 within a week. Don't forget to attach the invite letter, or get an Alaskan non-resident hunting permit. This would allow you to shoot at any shoot during your stay. Americans have weird legislations!

Otherwise, gun gets seized and you get sent back to the UK!

Leaving tomorrow via X5 with the Rhino in the trailer. Leave the dog at the excellent trainner on the way! I should be at the club grounds to drop off the trailer and Rhino Monday afternoon., then on to the marriot Courtyard!
