Perazzi Pro Sport

Merry Christmas to you all.

After 10yrs with the same MX12 it's time to add to the collection again!

Having had MX8's and 12's in sporters and game guns I'm well aware of the differences in design. One model that's passed me by is the MX12 Pro Sport.

Can anyone tell me the differences between say a standard MX12/MX2000s and a Pro Sport?

I vaguely remember them coming out as off the peg Perazzi's available in two comb heights. Basically a better version of the current MXS but on a MX12 action. Am I right?

Can anyone else give me anymore info on them?

Thanks for that. It would appear the Pro Sport is no different to any other MX12 sporter. I've seen several Pro Sports with very nice wood. I'm convinced the MX2000s has a few ££ added due to the Digweed factor!

Indeed, I have a HPX MX12 now and have owned a regular MX12 in the past - I suspect that the Pro Sport was just marketing - though every example I've ever seen had the nickel coloured action.  

Just go and buy the new Yildiz sporter at £1600 with Gd6 wood and adjustable comb.  ?
