How long before you have to reapply it?, Does it rub off on your clothing?

Not sure but you can certainly smell linseed oil in it.

I usually put one coat on in the morning and one in the evening about 6 hrs after.

I didn't like the finish as it was from the factory so I did it from the start.

As far as I know it last's quit a long time and is a hard finish. I put about 25 coats to get this finish

You just apply a coat every 6 hrs then after every 2nd & 3rd coats i use 4000/5000 grit wet and dry with soapy water and flat it out gently and apply more coats 

 
I have seen this product used on an air rifle and that was also an impressive finish.

Word of warning !!!! The products full title is 'slippery dick butt oil' you may get some strange and interesting results when you do an internet search😎
