Newbie from South Hampshire

Hello all,

I've just joined. I live in Fareham, Hampshire. I tried a local Gun Club's 'Have a Go' stand about half a dozen times and really enjoyed it. Then a club that I'm in started a Clay Shooting Group so I joined that and have been twice and was hooked. Applied for my licence and it came through in about 8 weeks which I understand is very good.

I did a bit of research and given a fairly limited budget and the fact that I'm probably unlikely to be swapping and changing much I opted for a brand new ATA Sporter SP Black 12G. Shot twice with it and am very happy with my choice.

I joined the CPSA and am now looking for a local club to join so that I can get some practice in. Evaluating a few before I make my mind up.

Welcome mate. Unfortunately can’t help with the local clubs but if you get on the cpsa website you will all cpsa registered clubs in your local vicinity Have fun and enjoy
