Keeper advised today that IF you are bitten by a tick, keep the tick for testing... Tick can be identified as a !ymes carrier in a couple of days, blood test on humans takes 3-4 weeks and so you miss out on crucial time..

Interesting advice given the severity of Lyme's disease - if you get it.

How do you convince your GP (or whoever) to send a tick to be tested when you have no symptoms (yet)?
