Average distance DTL targets destroyed at

Does anyone actually know what the average range a DTL clay is hit at . I know it varies from shooter to shooter but most people in my experience tend to take the shot at around the same distance . Anyone have any idea what that distance would be. 

I want to pattern the gun so need to work out a distance.

how much lead you giving this 30 mile target and what choke ?

If you were using the 16" guns from the USS Missuri or New Jersey, you would need about 52ft,  choke  not much  just a large charge.......

 I was wondering more the shot size to get that far?

40 cm/45 Type 94 naval gun...would still fall a couple of miles short  :lol:

that looks like a kriegoff to me. You can tell by the pleasing lines, very sleek....

poi looks high though and the barrells are out of line.

IPS might get excited by the erect one

that's a semi mate ?

In Nam' they had an 8" gun hitting targets at in the 35+ mile range upto 43 miles......

Doesnt say much about choke or shot size, if it was an 8" barrel, I would imagine about large terrier size shot......

need to upgrade lads that was so last millennium . Railgun is you best chance at smoking a clay at that range and no recoil either

I have just ordered 1000 of these, at least that is what the Guy selling them told me they were !   Apparently they will only go off when they are 'on target',  he said they will be in on the first of next Month  !
