    Hull new 24g loads

Finally got my hands on the 24g Comp-X today, cracking cartridge! Very smooth, good breaks on the sporting layout i shot, medium difficulty targets, through my old Winchester 101, 1/4 & 1/2 fitted. Probably not for the competition types but more than enough for casual club shot like myself.

Not really, the discount on reduced load seems to be getting minimal across most brands.

    Hull new 24g loads

Just to add tried the super fast 24 in my MK38, I think they feel smoother than my usual Eley select 24s despite the increase in velocity! Definitely one to try if you prefer lighter loads than 28g. Shaping up to be a good cart

Cartridge price increases now getting silly

I recall also seeing a French website selling White Gold for a lot less than you could probably find them for in a Gunshop in Hull! Britain does always pay more for things but it’s partly because we enable it. The shipping isn’t cheap for them to move the stuff overseas so the profit margin on...

Has anyone tried the new Comp X or Superfast in 24g yet?    If so any thoughts?

A fantastic idea but if you get anywhere up to 10 no birds on a round of 100 (seems about par these days, especially during cold n wet months) they’re not going to load that loss back on for you I’d bet. I may be wrong and would love to hear that to be the case?
