Sounds like hassle free shopping,delivered to your door what more can one want.Not every gunshop stocks a cartridge brand that you prefer to use. if I was pushed for time and not able due to work commitments would use this method.

Never used the cylinder choke prefer to shoot 1/4 on any targets that are right in your face and use 3/4 for any other target.Whilst cylinder might break targets at 30yd plus it will not dominate them like the tighter chokes.

Looking at the webpage there are a supplier of chokes no mention of UK made. Ported ones are just slotted with a slot drill.Take a look at briley chokes to see how it should be done.

Not a good looking choke in engineering terms,never heard of them before you mentioned them. Unless you are very unlucky most manufactured chokes for shotgun will be concentric to the barrels and therefore shoot a reasonable pattern.

Got me free sample of Clenzoil, put 200 shells through at the weekend cleaned the gun the usual way.Still had plastic fouling just in front of chambers used the Clenzoil with a bronze brush. The crap that came out was black, run a sheet of kitchen down the barrels.Up to the light to check the...

Alan have to agree with Les its a one way road on taking the choke down a size,you can`t reverse it If the gun fits and feels comfortable to shoot sharpen up the technique side of it and your scores will increase.

It all depends on if you want to break targets into a cloud of smoke,not slicy chips or chunky breaks.Tight chokes wins in my book.,

Moral of the story is you have to beat everyone in the car park........Do not look at the scores before shooting....... like Ed said 94 is not a high score :) Remember your in it to win it. :cool:

Birds only shooters are the bread and butter for most shoots they are the ones you have to keep happy.

Hammy have you tried the Fblack Sporting 8.5 2.2mm, 5% antimony.These are equal if not better than the Ely Superbs you use. Not much point swapping cartridges if you can`t get the pellet size you need.
