Yesterday I swapped out the foam pads for gel ones on my Peltor Comtac XPs, makes a huge difference in both comfort and how they seal.  Looking forward to giving them a proper run out at the weekend.

I would go for a leatherman, not the cheapest out there but given that my current one is probably 20 years old and I still use it all the time it will pay you back in years of service, not just in your gun bag but also in general use around the house and life.
