    Choke Grease

I clean my gun after every shoot and remove the chokes, clean the threads with some kitchen roll and put a couple of drops of gun oil on the threads before replacing them. It's worked fine for me for the last 20+ years.

    Browning adjustable comb

Maybe a newer model. I have a 17 year old Ultra XS with adjustable comb and have never had issues with it coming loose.

Looking for opinions on two Brownings.

Been shooting for 44 years and have tried quite a few guns in that time (excluding Perazzi and Kreghoff) and have owned an Ultra XS Titanium for the last 12 years.  I shoot every weekend, mainly skeet & sporting and have found the XS to be the perfect gun for me.  Can't see myself getting...

Benelli Super Nova - Stock Extension

Hi chaps (and chapesses), I have acquired a Benelli Super Nova pump, which is a great fun gun, but it's about 3/4" shorter in the stock compared with my Browning O/U. The butt pad is a rubber moulding, which fits in a moulded recess in the plastic stock and I can't see a simple way of...

Carrying your gun on a motorbike

Jesus man!!  That's nearly 200 quid!!  If it had straps to carry it like a backpack, I might consider putting it on my birthday list, but 200 smackers is a lot of dosh.  Guess I'll be sticking with my backpack method for now.

Carrying your gun on a motorbike

Hi Chaps, Anyone got any bright ideas how to carry a gun on a motorbike? I live in Totton (nr Southampton) and shoot at Bisley (NCSC), so it's a 120 mile round trip for me, which, when the weather is nice, I often take my bike. I break the gun down and put the stock in a back pack, with the...

    Hi from sunny Southampton

Hi Chaps and Chapesses, Many thanks for letting me join. I've been shooting clays since I was 18 (I'm now 60) and although I started shooting Sporting, for the last 15 years I've concentrated more on English Skeet (although I'm still crap at it). I have a Browning Ultra XS 30" and a Benelli...
