Miroku TR-1 designation
Anybody have an idea what the 'TR1' designation signified from Miroku? Come across them here in Australia on occasion, but unsure what it means. Usually they're 3800s with 3800 TR-1 stamped underneath. Cheers... -

Was made aware yesterday of an interesting new Miroku model in Australia (with updates to the Miroku range a few months away), available only at selected stores. A Mk11 with the lower frame, but lightweight via the use of an alloy frame I believe. Not aware whether Miroku has marketed an alloy... -

Mk38 sporter query
Guys, I've located a Mk38 sporter over here in Australia. Gun has 30" tubes, fixed chokes and what the gunshop believes is 1/2-Full chokes. Serial number dates the gun as a 1996 model. At the time, was such a beast made as currently I can only find reference to 1/4-1/2 choked models. Where can...
