Irish governing body ictsa  is now running all registered sporting shoots 8 persons per squad. I'll be giving them a miss  as I think it's a long enough day with 6 per squad.  Any opinions on this ?

I don't think it will be upto governing bodies.  I think we will be facing an outright lead ban in the future.  There was studies commissioned by the EU to prove the damage lead had on environment, wildlife and its toxicity  when the studies proved no such thing  they commissioned more.

Shoots  have been watered down to keep all classes happy over the last number of years.  When forced to shoot steel they will be watered down some more.  Personally I don't care about scores but enjoy a challenging shoot,  with steel the distance will have to be pulled back as luck should not...

There's a lot of targets thrown  where gun up is an advantage.  some short window shots it's a  necessity.   Low gun rule could never be  policed,  Mounting as you Call pull and the like,  them that bend the rules will bend the rules.  The ref's  have more than enough to deal with
