    Cheap semi-automatic?

I traded in an Armsan semi about 2 months back and got the pump and £50 cash back...  I've just treated mine to a 3/8 ported Teague choke for clay shooting.....

What to look for in a cartridge bag /range bag ?

Rubbish, not as good as the Aldi bag. This one appears to have a soft base, which will make it next to useless. The Aldi one has a solid base and tray underneath.

    email question for it guru

Is it possible that your accounts are set as a 'catch all' account? so anything@yourcompany will go to you? Had a similar issue but a mate of mine fixed it on the email server rather than my phone.

    Hearing protection for game/pigeon shooting

I couldn't help but try the mod on the Sonic ll These cost £3 from Asda. You get 3 different size buds (I have ordered 12 silicon large ear buds for £1.49 from eBay but couldn't wait  :)  ) Trim your Sonic's like this Shove the buds on .... job done and miles better

    Hearing protection for game/pigeon shooting

I came across a post on PW, LINK, they took the soft bud part of a pair of in-ear headphones and placed it around the stem. ;)

    Winter Gun

Thanks for your input/views guys. I'm not in the same league as many of you out there, very much just a club shooter happy shooting in the club comps against some very nice people I've met. I can totally understand your views on sticking with the same gun, if I was AA chasing money comps, then...

    Winter Gun

Anyone have one of these? I've told the missus everyone has one ;) Only been actively shooting since Feb this year and had a few guns along the way already. I've eventually settled on a new 686E Evo, which I'm loving. I'm starting to feel a bit paranoid about taking it out in the bad weather...

    Shooting older mans game?

Certainly money has a major factor. Kids are in their late teens and twenties and all have jobs. I used to go out drinking Friday & Saturday night religiously. Since I've started shooting the beginning of this year, I've not been out on a Friday at all and only have a few bottles on a...

    Hi, I'm new.

As a new shooter, the more times the better. Quite handy being so close to Blackpool opening 4 days a week..... I would love to shoot a least twice a week, just for the love of it, but as I shoot with my son and it gets quite expensive paying for 2 :( I'm 7 months into shooting now, so the...

    Hi, I'm new.

I submitted mine just before Christmas and got it the beginning of Feb. FAO in Lancs is a really nice guy, he will give you plenty of help and advice. Good tip is to print out CPSA guide and read up on the basics, he will ask you a few questions. I went one step further and joined the CPSA as a...

    Hi, I'm new.

Hi Simon Welcome. R Bamfords in Eccleston, Nr Chorley is worth a visit, great bunch of blokes in there. If you purchase a gun, they give you 7 days to bring it back if it don't suit you and a 3 month warranty, which I think most dealers do anyway. There is also Macavoys in Standish, they...

    C.P.S.A. Fees

I joined the CPSA before I got my SG certificate, as I thought it may help my application, which it did. As a new shooter and not interested in reg comps, I have only joined as a Clubman, £44. Gets me the public liability insurance and personnel accident. Probably have a look at some...
