My boy is nearly seven and quite enjoys coming along, he is kept busy with the button and keeping score (and reminding me how many I've missed on the trot!!) he has peltor cans and always wears glasses. My other boy is 2 and I wouldn't dream of taking him anywhere near the shooting ground!

Hi. Jonathan, I've had exactly the opposite, naturally right handed but have limited vision in my right eye so shoot left handed! I agree it felt so cack handed breaking the gun and ejecting the spent cartridges!! But 10 minutes practising with snap caps I had it mastered!! James

Well the Evo has been delivered!! My local gunsmith is giving it the once over before I collect Good Friday morning...........can't bloody wait!! So the next question is........is there anything specific that I need with my new gun before, during or after our first outing?!?! James

Thanks to Finners I have been in touch with Andy at Essex Gun and will have a new LH Evo making its way to my local gunsmith probably by the weekend!! The 2nd hand gun turned out to be the wrong model hence going with the new Evo. Thanks for all your help :-)

I am being swayed towards the Black Limited Edition now!!

Just really disappointed as I was first told it would be in on Wednesday :-(

The plot thickens.....now I am told there is at least a 3 month delay on my evo, not a single left hander available in the country :-( I said I was happy to wait if I could have a loan gun but that went down like a lead balloon!! I have tried a different gunsmith and he has found a mint 2nd...

Yeah he was happy to loan me a gun to stop me going elsewhere. I'll just stay patient..........hope it's worth the wait!!

Evo delayed until the end of the month.........gutted :-(

Just dashed out of work to meet the FAO..........I now have my SGC!! Roll on a week today......my new Beretta Evo should arrive at the gunsmiths!!

FAO visit on Thursday morning and she has my certificate............Beretta Evo ordered and due in late next week!! Happy times  :biggrin:

The Evo has won.........should be ready back end of next week  :spiteful:

Thought I had my heart set on a Silver Pigeon but after having a play with the 686 Evo I think I've changed my mind. All of the reviews say apart from cosmetics and a few hundred quid and the extended chokes there is very little difference. Your thought would be appreciated, SGC should land...
