    Wanted Browning choke

I have 6 Muller chokes, U0, 2x U1, U2, U3 and U4. I bought them for my son’s Citori but he likes the looks of his factory chokes better.

    B725 Protrap 32" vs CG Invictus V 30"

Interesting on wanting a lighter gun, I also have a 725 PS and do everything I can to add weight. Factory weight was 9lbs 0.5oz, I added a tungsten rod to the butt stock and got the weight up to 9lbs 9.8oz.

    ported barrels

It’s probably the gun, it’s probably loud with or without ports. I grew tired of all of the internet debate and actually tested.

    Cartridge misfires ?

The first thing I’d check is if the primers are steel or brass. Steel primers are known to chip firing pins and cause fail to fires.

    ported barrels

There’s no difference in report, I and some friends tested it with a decibel meter. For guns we used my Browning 725 Pro Sporting (US version of the Prosport) with ports and my Citori CXS (US version of the 425 Crossover) without ports. Both guns are 12ga/bore with 32” barrels. Test was on a...

    To Choke Or Not ?

All of my shotguns have changeable chokes. I had one pump gun that had a barrel with a fixed choke and I purchased a new barrel with removable chokes. If I buy a shotgun without the full complement of SK, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, F I’ll buy the missing choke to fill in the gaps. The primary reason is that...

    ported barrels

I own a US version 725 with ports and a US version 425 without ports. I notice no difference in sound report or recoil between the two. Both are 12 gauge/bore and have 32” barrels.

Beretta 694 barrel regulation - can it be adjusted?

I won’t say unregulated Beretta barrels are common but they aren’t unheard of in the US. Your only recourse is to send the gun to Beretta and hope that they fix the issue. I’ve no personal experience but from what I’ve read Beretta usually replies to the gun owner that the barrels are within...

    Tighter choke for newbies?

In think there might be truth to that suggestion but for trap.
