    E Rizzini chokes

Thanks, I've just had a look at them.   They are trade only now and only air weapons but thanks for the reply anyway.

    E Rizzini chokes

I'm trying to locate a supplier of original flush chokes for a 1994 E Rizzini 12g O/U shotgun. I've tried the usuals, including Teague,  but they supply only extended versions. I'm trying to match the original short, flush chokes which came with the gun.  Does anyone know of a suppplier? Thanks.

    A Beginner's Dilemma

Very interesting Martyn.  Thanks for that. Completely off topic now, but I think this will be my last post.  I can't log into this web site the normal way because it always tells me my password is wrong. The only way I can log in is go straight to the 'forgot password' link and wait for an...

    A Beginner's Dilemma

Actually Martyn according to the visit to the Browning Liege factory on You Tube   they get their wallnut stocks from Turkey.  Grade 5 stocks from mountain regions where the soil is poor and the wood takes on lots of character and Grade 1 - 3 from lower down fertile ground where it's straight...

    A Beginner's Dilemma

The Citori certainly has a great reputation and was  definitely on my short list until........................... A chap at the club said he has a friend who has given up shooting and who's selling his guns, one of which is a Browning B725 Sporter S1 Grade 5.  It's in absolutely pristine...

    A Beginner's Dilemma

Interesting Maca.  That's one of the guns that was mentioned to me as a good first gun.   My RFD is just like yours, very fussy and particular about what he sells and who he's selling to as well!  The other first gun recommendations I've had are a Beretta Silver Pigion 1 and a Miroku MK38.  I'm...

    A Beginner's Dilemma

Absolutely no disrespect taken Martyn.  I know nothing about this and therefore have a completely open mind on the subject of my first gun. I listen to my brother-in-law who has encouraged me to take up the sport/hobby and has been shooting clays for over 40 years, I listen to the very...

    A Beginner's Dilemma

Some very interesting and useful thoughts there.  Thanks everyone. You've all hit the dilemma right on the head:  A second hand Beretta or Browning will be great value for money and will hold its price, but it will come with nothing else.  No case,  no chokes, probably no warranty, just the...

    A Beginner's Dilemma

After shooting air rifles for several years I’ve finally been persuaded by my experienced clay shooter brother-in-law to join his clay shooting club.  I’ve applied for my shotgun certificate which has around a 3 month wait, after which I’ll be looking to buy my own gun rather than borrow his and...

    Hello from Cornwall

My brother-in-law is an experienced clay pigeon shooter and I like to go with him occasionally to watch.  On a skeet shoot recently he handed me his beautiful Beretta 687 EELL and said have a go.  I was very reluctant with all the other shooters watching, but they were a great bunch and also...
