Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

Likewise it was nice to put a face to the name. Two of them white ones is good going by my book, horrible target to see!  I lost interest after that stand going back down the hill and subsequently shot shockingly on the stand with the mini! Never mind there is always next time 😌

Horne for me this morning too, I didn’t think any of the targets were too challenging today, I misread a few targets it would seem. That teal stand you mention above I even managed a pair with one cartridge ending on 7/10.  Struggled with the white clay off the platform only finally connecting...

Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

Stand 9 was by far the coldest with the wind and sleet driving straight into your face, not overly pleasant.   How did you get on with stand 10? I couldn’t find that second crossed off the tower? I’m not a massive fan of 3 pair stands at the best of times but that definitely didn’t give me...

Willow Farm for me this morning. Arrived early just as the heavens decided to open, a bitterly cold wind didn’t make things any easier.   I got cold and frustrated and ended up on a 53/70 so not very happy with the result but enjoyed the targets none the less.

    Willow Farm Shooting Ground

As Bebo says there will be somebody at the ground that will be happy to walk you around and button for you (usually identified by a bright orange hi vis vest).  I believe for practice you can pretty much shoot what ever amount of clays you like. I’m sure 25 sporting is £7.50 and 25 skeet is £7...

    CPSA renewal/class after a break

Thanks for your reply Johnny, pretty straight forward then. I will hopefully get onto that this afternoon and see how I get on then.

    CPSA renewal/class after a break

Morning guys/girls,  I’ve recently started shooting again and I’ve just checked on the CPSA website and it was actually 10 years ago that I last shot a registered shoot (I thought I’d only stopped shooting for a few years?).  I’be been out with a few friends recently and have really got the...

    Hi from sussex

Oh crikey I can’t believe they have all shut!  Is Horne still running fortnightly with the alternate shoot being held at Gatton Bottom?  I did meet Ben at Stonestile the other week so I will introduce myself properly next time I visit.

    Hi from sussex

Not a million miles away from me at all I’m over in Battle. So if you move down let me know and we will have to have a shoot some time.

    Hi from sussex

Morning Bebo, I must have seen you around as they are grounds that I tend to shoot too. Yesterday I was at Mill Farm, I did the Christmas Eve shoot at Willow. Just before Christmas I was at the stonestile for the first time (nice little shoot just a bit of a shame about the tight parking).   I...

Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

First shoot of the year for me today, I was at Mill Farm in Hankham. I missed my first clay of the year but ended up on a 62/70 on their sporting layout. Nothing too challenging out there I just dropped a few silly targets. I swapped from Fiocchi Fblacks to Hull Pro Fibre, certainly has a few...

    Hi from sussex

Hi all, I’m Jamie.   I used to do quite a lot of sporting as a junior, I’ve had about a five year gap and now I’m currently trying to get back into the sport. Looking to improve my consistency and maybe look to start doing a few smaller competitions towards summer if all goes well.   I’m in...
