Seriously change nothing ! I've just started shooting clays again, i am shooting the same coarse once a fortnight with both a 12 and 20 bore, obviously different cartridges and my scores are pretty much the same with both. But i am seeing a steady increase in my scores week on week so just...

Do we think cartridges have improve that much in the last 30 years in comparison to the price increases.Would love to know the figures (feet per second etc.) for all these old cartridges,bet you they haven't improve that much if at all.

If i remember correctly there was a premium nickel coated shell, ah .. it's on the tip of tongue.... :frantics:   

Ah Victory cartridges.Tried the Challengers in felt wad thought they had dislocated my shoulder  :blackeye: then went to White Gold originals, but would take Winners over them all  :heart:   :heart:

i reckon we used to pay about £100-£102 a thousand for winners in the 90s and  shoot 250+ a weekend between 2 of us.Fantastic saturday for £30-40  :D good ole days when 50 sporting was a fiver,£2.50 for around of english skeet and £1 for 10 off the high tower 

Does anybody know what happened to Winchester Winners, why they all of a suddenly disappeared back in the 1990s, or are they still around in a different form.

Don't remember these. Always used Winchester Winner 8s until they disappeared,used thousands of 'em  :bye: fantastic value. If my memory serves me right £102 a 1000 wish Winchester had something similar now.
