    Shooting Jacket

Hi I bought one last winter to do a bit of winter clays - didn't want to spend a fortune. I found it ok, warm, dry & loads of pockets! Think I paid £75 so am happy. There are a few  things however: 1) Check the size - I got a medium which I thought was too baggy, but the small was tiny. At...

Eye domanance and eye black out covers

I use the same that MartynB has linked, along with a fibre optic easi-hit bead. I'm left eye dom / right handed and I feel it works well for me. Certainly better than closing an eye!

    Decibullz Molded Earplugs

Hi I've used them and find them fine. Better than muffs for comfort too. Make sure you mould them well, simply use hot water to remould. They come with foam and neoprene tips - they say foam are better but I seem to find the other tips better. Cant go wrong  for £30 imo

Trap forend on a Sporter 725 thoughts!

Hi all I've had my 725 sporter for a year or so and use it for local clays etc. It has the 'schnabel' forend which I found ok  However, just before the lockdown I had a go with a 725 fitted with a trap forend. I enjoyed it with a more chunky feel I was looking at simply getting a trap forend...

    fibre optic bead

Hi I'm left eye dominant / right handed - I use a 120mm easi-hit red bead and find (along with a blurred 'spot' on my glasses over my left pupil), that I can see the red bead in my peripheral vision without it taking over! The reason on the length is it means the left eye doesn't pick up the...

    Vari focal glasses

Same problem here, but have gone with disposable multi focal contacts just for shooting and never 'looked' back! Cheaper than a special pair of specs for shooting too - as priced by spec savers Also wear them when on my motorcycle as specs seem to get lodged in the helmet lining

    Hello from Derbyshire

Hi. Try Joe Neville in Tansley for lessons. I've had a few and it's been a huge help as I've only been shooting 6 months

    Hi from Derbyshire!

Hi all. Interview done so just need to fix the cabinet to the relevant wall and can expect the licence a couple of weeks after the ok! It was a lengthy interview because we're both into bikes..... Time to start looking at some try-before-buy sessions to pick the right gun.
