My g00gle-fu is playing up a bit this morning but the trigger is supposed to be adjustable, maybe there's a part missing? Also there's supposed to be two trigger plates supplied with the gun, did you get them both? You don't mention if the 682 is new or 2nd hand.

Hardy har but I watched another gun fit video and realized that the guns I have been shooting the stocks have been waaaaay too long for me. I can literally fit 7-8 fingers between my nose and my thumb. I'm amazed I've shot as well as I have, I probably stand all wrong and everything. Can't wait...

Are there any local clubs you can join? That would be the best way of finding people to shoot with I'd say. We're (husband and I) are in a local club here and during the summer they arrange shoots every other weekend on average, which is pretty good considering we live very rurally.
