I just don't understand why none of these companies are looking at a Cartridge for the club shooter. Both of these new releases by Gamebore will never go through my gun. Even if I won the lottery I couldn't justify £450 a thousand. There's nothing the Velocities in fibre didn't break at Swinton...

I now consider I'm paying a premium price for a budget cartridge (£250+ a thou). I shoot Gamebore Velocity+ which are now the price of what their premium cartridges were a year ago. Gamebore have wound me up this last few week with their advertising of another so called premium cartridge...

I've just shot a 200 target comp straight through with them in the North East. I've shot them since they were Kent Velocities in pinkish cases. Can't fault them at all. I think 'thump' is personal. I've never found Velocities to thump me.

Just got some prices for Gamebore Velocity+ 28g 7.5 Fibre and Evo 28g 7.5 Plastic and it's gone crazy £230 and £245 per thousand. That's a £40 increase since I last stocked up on these... Unfortunately I don't think I can continue shooting at the same rate unless I maybe change to 21g or 24g...

But a shoot over 4 days can result in very different conditions each day. You qualify against all the shooters who shot on the same day as you did. Then all shooter return to shoot on the same day with the greatest chance of the conditions being equal.
