    Obsessive , Compulsion

The main difference I find between clay shooting and any other sport is the amount of hobbyists amongst top class competitors. There isn’t a single sport i can think of where you can pay an entry fee of £30-£40 and compete alongside county, British and on some occasions world title holders.

    A Beginner's Dilemma

A used browning/Miroku/beretta can be picked up for as low as £900. Over time that extra £2-300 wil be nothing compared to the money spent on clays, cartridges, entry fees, fuel, lessons, etc. A gun from one of the big players will outlast all those things many times over and will still have a...

    Air rlfle

I must say that shooting rats with co2 pistols of a bird feeder has always been the true measure of a natural sportsman and “hunter” The landed gentry in the U.K. were often known to abandon a days driven game shooting if a rat was seen as it was considered far more challenging and sporting...

    Servicing intervals

That’s how Perazzi smiths and engineers built your gun, over heard a few Perazzi smiths talking before.  ”hey Luigi take 1000 of a biscotti of that breach” It’s well known around Brescia, in fact those in the know are well aware of the Perazzi employee nick name. The biscuit boys

    Falure of Multichoked Guns

    First look at game shooting

See if you can find a local non for profit/diy shoot and beat for them.  Then maybe a half gun or some days will open up  in the future. These type of shoots are cheaper but it’s sometimes dead mans shoes waiting to buy a permanent gun. There’s no overages, no tipping, you shoot with the same...

Changing Guns for a new season

People will always want rather than need something more desirable or different and there’s nothing wrong with that. everyone is entitled to spend their hard earned on what they want so I don’t see any need for people to justify it with “it will improve my scores etc” If you want golden...

    Peoples perception of reliability

I have a browning with an eroded bottom firing pin. It happened really early on but hasn’t seemed to get any worse and hasn’t caused any misfires.
