Well shot. I'm glad u are pleased with your new gun. Try some hull comp x or gamebore white gold in 28g. Both are good shells with a little less recoil than the velocity +.

I would suggest multi choke. For the simply reason if you are new to shooting you may wish to try shooting different disciplines which may  include sporting, skeet and trap. If your gun is multi choke you can swap chokes to suit what you are shooting.

If it was done to gain an advantage over others then it's cheating. Maybe there was a problem with their supply of cartridges and that was the reason. Cheating? Inconsiderate and breaking the rules yes. They Should be disqualified. The ref may have acted later and not wished to cause a scene...

Some days when I shoot stones would give the same results😀. When I first started shooting I pre mounted the gun for all targets and remember it feeling heavy. Nowadays I only pre mount the gun when necessary and never notice the weight when shooting or after.

Could the recoil in the gun when fired be causing or increasing the pain? Maybe try a soft cartridge, I would recommend hull comp x as these are the most comfortable I've found to use through my side by side. Good luck with finding a solution.

A few grounds I've been to recently had two bins at the front of the cage for spent shells and a bin at the back for the cardboard boxes. It may have been like this for sometime as I was throwing my cardboard in the front bins and have only recently noticed my error :oops: .

I dont think I'm struggling more with anything now than when I started but I am still struggling with the battue, non straight going away and also anything at long range even crossing targets which is probably what I am most competent with.
