Just had a phone call from the CPSA asking why I had not renewed and also asking if it was something they had done wrong? 

Is it normal for them to chase you up with a phone call?

I don't know if it's a normal thing but surely a good thing. 

Yeah they phoned me, can't afford the payment was my reason, told them they should offer a monthly payment like BASC

the phone call seemed a bit desperate but maybe that is just how the person phoning appeared?......

Will it get like Sky, im off unless you give me a better deal.

If they stopped sending that rubbish magazine out, they could reduce the fee

I think they would just spend it on other things than reducing the fee ! ........most use the online version anyway unless you want to read it on the bog :lol:

I would happily pay my membership fee just for the gun reviews never seen a bad one.

I dont mind the mag, the words are smaller than the Nat Geo i used to read.

Its the most appropriate place to read the news these days.

I shall not renew my CPSA membership this year as I no longer shoot clays. But I shall stay in BASC though, mainly for the insurance.
