Hi everyone, just signed up to the Forum, a beginner who's had a couple of lessons and will soon be looking to buy my own gun for sporting! Narrowed my choice down to a Browning 525, Miroku mk38 as new or a used Beretta 682 with a budget of around £1500. Based in Essex.

I'm at a similar point to you - got my interview with the FEO shortly.

I had virtually the same shortlist as you (we must all do the same research) but prefer the Browning 525 as when I try it in the shop it appears to be the better 'fit' and is comfortable for me...Obviously you may be a little different shape-wise.

Thanks all! Hoplite, yes I'm thinking more of a 525, good luck with SGC, mine took a shade over 11 months here in Essex!
