Also, their late shooting starts this week. A great way to shoot in the week for a great price. From the website:

Summer late night shooting will commence on Wednesday 8th April 2015, starting at 3pm with all shooting to finish at 8pm.

Shoot skeet and compak layouts at just £6 per round of 25 birds on Wednesdays.

On Thursdays we run a 50 English Sporting practice round which is open for all experienced shots to enjoy at £17.00 per round, or £14.50 for members.

On the first Thursday of every month we run a CPSA registered 100 bird English Sporting competition. The next shoot will be held on Thursday 9th April 10am – 4pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Lovely weather! Went round with two mates (not on the forum) plus Steve Lovatt, who was on fire on all except one bird. You were definitely in front Steve!

I wrenched my old trusty Perazzi out and gave it a go. (Well, had a cheeky practice last night too). Still feels a tiny bit like a new gun to me after a six month break, but I think it's back for good. Sigh.. I had a good few sloppy misses today, but put in an 88 on a steady course that had a few tricky birds. Mainly it was a good variety of more "medium" stands. I reckon a 97 will take it.

Looked like a huge hoard of entries at lunchtime. Must be the new catering, which is superb by the way.

A great day out!

Well I thoroughly enjoyed it but was caught out badly by the Simo orange/yellow pair scoring only 2/10 and the blinking black rabbit which I shot in front of!  Thanks to Calamity and Springer for inviting me to join them.  Finished on 72/100.

I can guess which one he was infront of.....

98 was leading A's when I left at about 5ish and was also the overall high gun.

What a lovely afternoon in the sunshine, ended up on 79 which I was really happy with for my 2nd ever registered.

Messed up on the stand 8 with the close right to left then the long slow left to right, only got one of those.

Early doors for me, cracking shoot again,  nice to see people bunking off work to have some fun.

82 for me and a joint bronze, not sure how far a 4way split for a 3rd in C class will go.

See some of you at Weston this w/e

Shot this mid pm, I didnt like or the rabbits on st 10 & 11 or rather they didnt like me, st 10 r-l lobbed over a small mound bouncy all over missed all 4, chaps in front all had slow rollers.

st11 rabbits l-r saw two roll up the incline and stop so chap shoots it as it just sits there, lucky so and so, thankfully I hit all 4.

Don't know name but amongst all the glum frowny alpha male faces was a very chirpy / happy lass who seemed to be straighting every stand, cannot remember her missing clay, whoever it was she did look to shoot well.
