It's Salopian, with a Capital .

Just like Hodnet is the Capital of Clay shooting grounds, Shropshire is Capital of England and Wales , and Staffordshire is where Mugs and Old crocks come from.

See you all on Thursday for a hundred finest (warm up for The Beretta World's?)

Yep I am going however the squad seems to have grown exponentially so no idea who I am actually going to be shooting it with on the day, it must be my rugged good looks, amazing charm and quiet modesty that attracted the late comers ...

Not squaded if your a guest groups are normally bobbys from various forces.

Squad was probably not the best terminology, I was meaning you can enter a guest team/squad/group to win some crystal glasses.

There are too many of us going now so we are going to have to split up to shoot it or spend forever and a day on each stand.

Yes can take a while if your in a big group. I've got some crystal somewhere in the cupboard. Was in the team that won the guests one last year so will be having a go again this year. Good luck and shoot well.

Great day out. My favourite stand was number 11, with the green clay racing down the gully following the blaze toppling off the cliff. Missed a few, but what a challenge!

Least favourite was stand 14, which was the incomer, that may or may not, ended up between the forked tree with the sim crosser. Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Great shoot at a fabulous ground and extremely well organised with some cheerful Refs.

Stand 11 did for quite a few according to Alan Rowley who reffed the stand. Very technical targets on that one with the sunlight altering how you saw the orange clay. Thought it was a good shoot on the whole. Great day out and not working BONUS
