I was allowed to "fondle" the latest Perazzi MX8 Vintage MX8 trap gun today, nice bit of kit, semi high rib, case coloured action, drop out trigger group and lovely wood! I am led to believe that only 6 0r so a year are built and this is the only one in the U.K.?

Perazzi....................Vintage.....................????     by all accounts it must resemble 'Triggers Broom' then !

"I've had this broom for 10 years. It's had three new heads and four new handles, but its still the same broom!". (or words to that effect).

I suspect Westley is intimating that any 'vintage' Perazzi has had so many replacement parts (due to Perazzi's now infamous unreliability   ) that it is not actually the original gun?

No1TopDog, You are so Supermarket!   100% correct! you should apply for the CPSA position? but on second thoughts you would be the only one there with any knowledge of shooting? :fie:

To clarify I know Perazzi have just introduced a new model called the 'Vintage' but I read Westley's comment as being in reference to an old 'vintage' Perazzi. Probably wrong as usual.

The new 'Vintage' looks great although personally I could do without the case hardening. But hey, that's just me.

Love case hardened....not got one of those ....yet.

Soooooo pretty.
Here is a really nice example of a truly vintage Perazzi case hardened. I would buy it but I really cannot justify having guns not doing anything already have two doing nowt. I love the one I am using and just stick with the one gun. Anyway you might want to have a wee look at this it is nice :)

I am with you. I don't like case hardening just aesthetically wrong to my eyes

:fie:  When I had my gunshop I had an old country boy who had a sideX side with them "Domestos" barrels (true)

Ohh.... that was you... I printed the picture off to keep the kids away from the fire.

Hey Guy's and Gal, it was NOT me that posted about bargain 'P' gunslips, complete with a pocket for spares !   I just believe everything that I read on here.     :fie:

Hey DT please do not give up, after all, while they are having a go at you they are leaving me alone !

After poking around with that old K80 supertrap you would'ent appreciate the finesse of the Perazzi Vintage

While you're all in a anti-case color hug I guess I should let you know that I luv 'em!  But I notice that the main anti's are not Perazzi People either so who GAF what you think?

Of the P-guns in the safe here there is only one that is not CC.  That is a PlainJane MT6 and way few of those were case colored.  The MX8 and the Mirages that are still here all have lovely colors.
