A new perazzi?

Innovation is the name of the game, Perazzi can't stand still with competitors who are just as capable of producing a fine shotgun, maybe they have decided to raise the bar a few notches?

Presumably this will be the fixed high rib trap gun they have been posting lots of videos recently showing various peeps testing at their range??

The 'High Tech' logo on the gun is a bit of a give away as well but I'm probably totally wrong...as usual.

Greg, I would bet that they've designed a new model where the trigger is no longer removeable cos it won't break, the barrel will have no side ribs so they can't come loose and rattle, they have made it with a bead that will not fall out, so it won't cost £14 for a new one when it falls out (ouch!) ......Sorry mate, but I simply couldn't resist that last one!

And if they could just cure the gape, so that you don't have to open it twice to insert cartridges, that would be nice.

Someone once told me that Mr Perazzi (Danieli) was asked to do this on many occassions but refused point blank.

Interesting. So why refuse to fix a known issue. I bet Mr Beretta would :)

Oops. I will get my coat.

Just what is the nature of this issue?  I just did a quick check here and none of the resident Perazzis seem to need opening twice.

If there is an issue then can it be cured by a really complicated mechanism or maybe just butt-ugly design?

Twice was a sarcastic comment. But if you just push the top lever, the gape is not enough to drop a cartridge into the lower barrel, so a second movement is needed to open the gun further.. It's not really an issue with clays, but can drive some game shooters mad when reloading quickly.

This is also the case with Beretta but as you say not really a problem as such.

If the "game shooters" don't have loaders then they've no need of a Perazzi.  Like Purdey said responding to similar complaints - our clients do not open their own guns.

just sayin' ............................

It's a minor thing, about 50th on the list of criteria for choosing a gun. But when you open another make of gun, you see the difference.

I know exactly what will is talking about, it's a minor annoyance the happens occasionally. You just have to make sure you open the gun firmly.

Back bored barrels???

Fraid to say as a Perazzi fan the DT11s I've tried are very good.

Few difficult decisions coming up at bonus time..The SC3 I've been eyeing up might have to wait until another itch is scratched. :|
