Hi from Cyprus

Hi my name is Bob originally from Manchester but now living near Larnaca, Cyprus.  I have been shooting for some time, off and on, now shooting at the Larnaca Olympic Shooting Ground.

Hi Bob welcome aboard  :hi: enjoy the forum . I have happy memories of shooting FITASC in Cyprus from a few years ago now when it was held at the mos foloti shooting ground ( I think that's how it was spelt ) and stayed in Larnaca . 

Thank you all for the welcome.  Shortlegs, I did go and have a look at the FITASC at Mosfoloti but did not compete, I was into English Skeet then.  I now shoot mostly sporting at Larnaca.  I did live in Llantwit Major for about 8 years, but was not shooting then.

Up at Episkopi there is the Egg club which allows ex-pats to shoot there. In fact it was an invite from an ex-pat that got me thinking about taking this up - however it was a day too late as we were leaving for home before the next shoot.

If you get on the kourium road (the old Paphos road), it is on the bend after the SBA police station and before the camp gates. When we next go back on Holiday there I will be off having a shoot.

When I was stationed out there I was into Windsurfing however the sight of me in a wetsuit now is not a pretty thing - I wish I had taken this up back then.

Think of us poor lot shooting in the winter - and try not to laugh
